Making A Move
ASUS USB-AC53 Dual-Band Wireless Adapter
QUICK DEPLOYMENT
Employing the same design like its router, the USB-AC53 bears the diamond shape decorative as its decal. There’s even a cradle provided for those desktop or notebook with hard to reach USB ports. What’s more important is how easy it is the set it up. Just plug the device in, pop the CD, click a few things and it’s done. It doesn’t require much thinking as everything is instructed in such away that a 12-year old kid can do it.
IN AND OUT
The initial connection speeds with the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are in the range where I expect it to be. It is indeed faster than other USB wireless adapters I used before. However, stability is an issue here. Although I have the RT-AC66U router running, after moving around at home, the connection seemed to have dropped. At times it gets to the point of not being able to load my Steam account. Thankfully, this rarely happens.
